Dojo Rules & Etiquette

1. ALWAYS REMOVE SHOES AND BOW BEFORE ENTERING DOJO.

2. ALWAYS REFER TO YOUR INSTRUCTOR AS SENSEI.

3. ALWAYS BOW TO YOUR INSTRUCTOR AT THE BEGINNING AND END OF EACH CLASS.

4. DO NOT WEAR ANY JEWELRY WHILE TRAINING IN THE DOJO.

5. NO EATING, SMOKING, OR CHEWING GUM IN THE DOJO.

6. REFRAIN FROM FOUL LANGUAGE IN OR AROUND THE STUDIO.

7. SPEAK QUIETLY WHEN CLASSES ARE IN SESSION.

8. NEVER DISRUPT THE FLOW OF CLASS BY INTERRUPTING YOUR INSTRUCTOR.

9. POSSESSION OF DRUGS OR ALCOHOL IN THE STUDIO IS GROUNDS FOR IMMEDIATE DISMISSAL.

10. ALWAYS WALK TO THE REAR OF A CLASS IN SESSION.

11. ALWAYS WEAR A CLEAN UNIFORM TO CLASS.

12. ALWAYS PURCHASE YOUR MARTIAL ARTS SUPPLIES FROM YOUR INSTRUCTOR.

13. SHOW CONTROL OF YOUR EMOTIONS AT ALL TIMES.

14. STUDENTS MUST NEVER ASK ABOUT THEIR NEXT RANK TEST DATE.

15. ALWAYS SHOW RESPECT FOR YOURSELF AND OTHERS.

16. LEAVE DRAMA OUTSIDE CLASS, IT HAS NO PUPOSE HERE.
